Map what three competitors shipped
Perplexity collects recent product changes from three named competitors, each tied to a page you can open.
A one-screen map: what shipped, who it is for, and what you still cannot tell.
- 1
Name real products
Use the three you actually lose deals to, not a generic category list.
- 2
Open every link
Discard a row whose page does not support the sentence.
- 3
Keep the gap
The four-line gap is the part you take to a planning conversation.
The prompt to paste
Compare three competitors I will name: [A], [B], and [C]. Look only at changes they shipped or announced in the last 90 days. For each company return: - What changed, in one sentence - Who it is for - The page I can open - What the page does not tell me Then write four lines on the gap they all still leave. Do not rank them. Do not estimate revenue, traffic, or market share. If a company has no public change in the window, say that.
Announcement pages are marketing. Treat them as claims, not as usage.
