Research a question and keep the sources
Grok answers one research question with sources you can open, the disagreements, and what it could not find.
A short answer, a handful of sources, and the part of the question that is still open.
- 1
Ask one question
Name the decision it feeds. A topic is not a question.
- 2
Open the sources
Keep a source only if the page actually says the claim. Drop the rest.
- 3
Write the unsettled part down
Take the disagreements and the missing piece into the meeting. Leave the primer behind.
The prompt to paste
Research this question. I need an answer I can check, not a survey of the topic. Question: [one question] Context: [who the answer is for, and what decision it feeds] Return: 1. The answer in under 150 words. 2. Three to six sources I can open. For each: the title, the link, and the one claim you took from it. 3. Where the sources disagree. 4. What you looked for and could not find. Do not invent numbers, quotes, or papers. If a source is behind a login, say so and do not pretend you read it. If the question is too broad to answer, ask me to narrow it instead of writing a primer.
A confident answer with dead links is not research. The sources are the work.
