Pull decisions out of the meeting notes

Gemini reads a transcript or notes and returns only the decisions, the owners, and the open questions.

·Operations·12 min·Starter

A decision log short enough to paste at the top of the doc.

  1. 1

    Paste the notes

A rough transcript is better than a polished recap. The model should see the hedging.

  2. 2

    Strike false decisions

Remove anything the room did not actually agree to.

  3. 3

    Put it at the top

Paste the log above the notes so the next reader sees the decisions first.

The prompt to paste

Read these meeting notes and extract a decision log. Do not summarize the whole meeting.

For each decision:
- The decision, in one sentence
- The owner, if the notes name one
- The date it takes effect, if stated
- What would falsify it

Then list open questions that were not decided. Do not convert a suggestion into a decision. If the notes are ambiguous, quote the line and mark it unresolved.

Notes:
[paste]

Owners only count if a person was named. Do not let the model assign one.
